V&A Glass Sculpture Reflection

The glass sculpture in the V&A gallery was not part of a particular exhibition, rather, it was a decoration above the reception area. Initially, I had not noticed the piece until  I explored the first and second floors of the gallery and was faced with its impressiveness. Immediately, I felt intrigued by the shapes incorporated into the sculpture and the overall shape of the piece. I believe it is created from glass due to the shine and reflection it gains from the light impressed upon it. The piece inspired me to explore shape and texture more, while I also feel it fits with my theme effectively as I am looking at spooky figures to be shadowed through my lamp.
