Final Piece

Changes:

  • Taking away the dream journal – I realised that my space had become a minimalist set-up, and the dream journal was confusing this aesthetic.
  • This has pushed me out of my confort zone greatly as now my exhibition space lacks anything I have hand created (except the cabinet and frames which I made myself). I am used to creating pieces with something physical like paint or textiles, so this piece is something new for me.

F’Dreams and how they help us’

‘How dreams psychologically help us’

  • Falling, being chased, and having your teeth fall out are the most common dreams our minds create. Each of these are portrayed through stop motions, with the interpretation shown to follow. I want to increase the understanding that our dreams are helpful to us, if we consider how we interpret the dream, we can apply this to our daily life and become psychologically helped.
  • Falling, being chased, and having your teeth fall out are the most common dreams our minds create. I wish to expand the understanding of dreams, and raise the knowledge that they can be helpful to us through our own interpretation and application to our daily lives.

‘Interpreting¬†your dreams’

  • Falling, being chased, and having your teeth fall out are the most common dreams our minds create. I wish to increase the awareness of our dreams, and encourage consideration of how we can apply our own interpretation of them to our daily lives.
